My name is Lauren and I'm the founder of MAYA Patterns.

Passionate about sewing for the past 12 years, I have turned this art into a true vocation. French, aged 45, I live in Germany after 3 years in England, and I'm about to move to Japan. Wherever I go, I create “my Happy Place”: a workshop dedicated to meticulous sewing and the creation of my patterns.

Fashion has always been a way for me to assert myself with style and confidence.

Couture, discovered by chance, was an obvious choice.

After learning on my own, I perfected my skills by taking a CAP in dressmaking and training in fashion design. Each piece I create is thought through with exacting refinement, from the choice of lines to the impeccable finishing touches.
